The Child and the Wider Community Pre-schools may welcome visitors to tell the Christmas story or make an Easter garden. They might like to perform their annual nativity play or Christmas concert in the church. Brownies, Cubs and other uniformed organisations might like to take part in special services for Mothering Sunday or Harvest Festival. They might be able to plant bulbs in the churchyard, or have a Christingle service at Christmas. There are also opportunities for organising after school clubs, activity mornings and holiday clubs or starting "Messy Church".
