Elements of worship

Whatever our faith or denomination, worship involves a variety of constituent elements.

Worship within the Anglican Christian tradition involves elements such as confession; creed; prayer; Bible reading; music and singing; sermon or talk.

Often, when planning worship that involves children, the elements included may be just the talk and action choruses.

However, worship for children can be a much broader experience and can include all elements in ways that are accessible to them. We are able to provide children with opportunities to fully engage in worship.
